Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use them to make the site work and, with your consent, to understand how it is used and to support marketing. Non-essential cookies are off by default — we only set them once you agree.

The categories we use

• Strictly necessary — needed for the site to function and to remember your cookie choices. These are always on and do not require consent.
• Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Off until you consent. We use Google Analytics 4 for this, including its Google Signals feature — see below.
• Marketing — used to measure and support advertising. Off until you consent.

Cookies we set

DRAFT — marketing tools not yet live. No marketing or advertising cookies are set at present. The list below covers everything currently in use and will be extended if that changes.

• ept-cookie-consent (strictly necessary) — stores your cookie preferences on this device so we don't ask again. Set by Euro Padel Travel. Technically this is stored in your browser's local storage rather than as a cookie, and it stays until you clear your browser data for this site.
• _ga (analytics) — distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count unique visits. Set by Google Analytics. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_G-9PD9CYVTMV (analytics) — keeps track of the current visit (session state) for our Google Analytics property. Set by Google Analytics. Expires after 2 years.

Google Analytics and Google Signals

With your consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and where they drop off. We have IP anonymisation switched on, and we do not send Google your name, email address or phone number.

We also have Google Signals enabled. This means that if you are signed in to a Google account and have turned on Ads Personalisation in your own Google settings, Google may associate your visit with that account. Google then gives us aggregated, anonymised reporting on the age, gender and interests of our visitors, and can recognise the same person across the different devices they use. To do this, Google uses its own advertising cookies and identifiers, set on Google's domains rather than ours.

Google Signals only operates after you have accepted analytics cookies — decline them and none of it runs. We never see individual profiles, only aggregated reports, and Google withholds figures for small groups so individuals cannot be identified. You can also turn this off for every site at once through Google's own My Ad Center controls, or opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
