Why I started Euro Padel Travel

I'm Jack, and this started with a trip of my own. In 2025, after thirteen years in public-sector IT, I quit my job and spent nine months travelling through Australia and Southeast Asia. It ended in Bali, and Bali is where I found padel. Courts are all over the island — Jungle Padel in Canggu became my local — and within a couple of weeks I was hooked.

When I got home, I dragged my mates onto a court. These were guys who'd never commit to golf: too expensive, too slow, too many lessons before it's any fun. Padel was the opposite. It's easy to pick up, good fun from the very first game, and quietly addictive. Before long it was the one thing everyone actually turned up for.

So of course we wanted to build a trip around it. That's where it fell apart. In your thirties, just getting everyone in the same place at the same time is hard enough. Add finding the right hotel, good courts nearby, court time booked and transfers sorted, and it always lands on one person to figure out. Usually it never happens at all.

That's why I started Euro Padel Travel. We handle the whole thing — hotels, courts, transfers, the lot — in Spain, Portugal and Italy, the home of the game. I've played the courts and stayed in the hotels myself, so you turn up to everything ready and just play. Friends or couples, any ability, nobody sitting out.

We're new, which means every trip gets my full attention: you deal with me, not a call centre. It's pints and a laugh without the stag-do wreckage. If you want to get your people back together, I'd love to hear from you.

— Jack
